Handknitted socks need Show Off Shoes

Unfortunately, I wear my jeans verrrry long so it's hard to show off my handknit socks:

So I make sure that I hike my pant leg up when I sit down on the train.

[Or I just rip my shoes off at staff meetings and yell, "Look!  I made a new pair of handknit socks!"]

If my jeans aren't too long then my Dansko clogs show off my handknitted socks:

Hmmmm.  Now that I'm knitting socks I'm going to have to alter my wardrobe and shoe selection.  Yay, hand knit socks!
